Mildred Louise Miller McGrath

December 4, 1927 ~ July 20, 2014

ABBEVILLE — Mildred Louise Miller McGrath, 86, who died Sunday, July 20, 2014. At her request, no services will be held. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery at a later date.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Joel McGrath; daughter, Frances Colleen McGrath Chapman; sister, Dolores “Tooty” Gautreaux; grandchildren, Kamela Chapman Doucet, Karla Chapman Meaux, Katherine Chapman Touchet, Erin Evans Ross, Ronnie Michelle Evans Moulin, Bobby James McGrath, John “T-John” McGrath and Alexis McGrath; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward McGrath; parents, Walter Warren Miller and the former Louise Broussard; brothers, Walter Carlton Miller and Rodney Miller; sisters, Juanita M. Miller, Ella Idella “Zoo” Miller and Dempie “Dee” Bell Miller Gerac; daughter, Maureen McGrath Evans; and son, James Edward McGrath, II.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Eastridge Assisted Living staff for their special care and praying with her in her final days and also Hospice of Acadiana for their support and compassion.
