Abbeville—Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Claudia Katherine Detraz Marceaux, 66, who died Friday, July 18, 2014 at her residence.
She was laid to rest at Esther Community Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.
She is survived by her two sons, Jubal Marceaux and his wife Alison of Lake Charles, and Kane Marceaux and his wife Caroline of Rayne; two daughters, Jada Kratzr and her husband Chris of Rayne, and Kasha LaPointe and her husband Floyd, Jr. of Kaplan; five grandchildren, McKenzie Marceaux, Draik Delino, Lindsay Marceaux, Kenedi LaPointe and Rynn Marceaux; two step-grandchildren, Morgan Thomas and Phillip Leblanc; brother, Kirby Detraz; and sister, Catessa Bourge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odilon “Junior” Marceaux, Jr.; and parents, Valentine Detraz and the former Gladys Dupuis.
