Abbeville—Funeral services were held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Remy Elton Miller, 45, who died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Iberia Medical Center.
He was laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
He is survived by his mother, Earline A. Miller; two sisters, Melissa Prejean and her husband Jade, and Melanie Hebert and her husband Farrel; brother, Joseph “Joey” Miller, Jr. and Kirsten Fagerstrom; nephew and godchild, Alec Hebert; nephews, Aaron Hebert, Austin Hebert, Jaden Prejean and Evan Prejean; and step-niece, Kiaya Fagerstrom.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Preston Miller, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Melanie Comeaux and Joseph Arabie; and paternal grandparents, Ada Miller and Remie Miller.
