ABBEVILLE — Memorial services will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary Elaine Theriot, 87, who died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Maison du Monde Living Center.
She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Father Neil Pettit officiating the services.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark M. “Lil Mark” Broussard of Abbeville and Gregory J. Broussard of Delcambre; two daughters, Karen Mary B. Monte’ of Folsom and Vanessa Ann B. Kaskie of Austin TX ; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Felix Theriot; mother, Lena Comeaux Theriot; and granddaughter, Sadie Broussard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service with a rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m.
