KAPLAN—Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of William Hebert, 89, who died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He was laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
He is survived by his companion of fifteen years, Eugenie Ryder of Abbeville; two daughters, Linda Hebert of Abbeville, Gayle Marie Hebert and her husband, Broderick Touchet of Abbeville; one sister, Berdell Menard of Abbeville; two brothers, Ferdinand Hebert of Abbeville, Pervis Hebert of Texas; four grandchildren, Shane Frederick, Shannon, Scotty and Stoney LeMaire; and five great grandchildren, Gabriel Ray, Jordan Earl Melancon, Cassandra “Cassie” Venable, Chance Ryan, and Kylie Frederick.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Winnie Jean Fetterly; one son, Timmy Ray Hebert; one daughter, Sondra Jean Hebert Soilieu; three brothers, Preston, Mickey, and Andrew Hebert; and one sister, Marie Hebert .
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.
