Patriots move winning streak up to four games
The North Vermilion Patriots have done a lot of winning this baseball season.
The winning continued this weekend as the Patriots won their fourth straight game with an 11-0 win over Westminster Christian on Saturday.
Seth Patin won the game for the Patriots on the mound.
Patin pitched four innings and allowed only three hits. He also struck out three batters.
Ryan Thompson was the biggest reason the Patriots offense scored 11 runs.
Thompson was 3-for-3 with two home runs and six RBIs.
Ty Desormeaux and Trey Broussard each went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
The Patriots record now stands at 21-2.
North Vermilion was back in action last night against district rival Notre Dame, and will turn around and play them again tomorrow at North Vermilion.
Game starts at 4 p.m.
