Jerome Mire

Jerome Mire, 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Mire of Forked Island; one son, Sonnie Jude Mire and his wife, Lucinda of Lafayette; three daughters, Lillian and her husband, Bruce Hodge of Gonzales, Jacqueline and her husband, Anthony Dartez of Kaplan, and Kim and her husband, Lennes Hebert of Abbeville; two sisters, Alberta and her husband, Robert LeBlanc of Kaplan and Beverly and her husband, Larry Vidalier of Kaplan; one brother, Michael Mire of Kaplan; twelve grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren .
He was preceded in death by his son, Jerome “Jay” Mire Jr; his parents, Wilton Mire and the former Marie Dronet; and his sister, Alberta Mire.
