Person of interest sought in Kaplan burglary

According to Chief of Police Boyd Adams, no arrests have been made in the armed robbery of Econo Mart, but they do have a person of interest.
"We have a few more details to tend to before we can make the arrest," said Adams.

Adams said he was able to piece together information of the possible suspect with the video surveillance and tips he received from concerned individuals, and hopes to have an arrest by Thursday.

A black male is seen on surveillance footage lifting his shirt to show a gun to the store's cashier. She locked herself in a back room after she was asked by the gunman for money. The gunman fled on foot with a bottled water after another customer entered the store.
