Uris Paul Lemaire “Pejean”

KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Uris Paul Lemaire, 77, who died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen H. Lemaire; two sons, Mark Lemaire and his wife, Janet of Cow Island and Don Lemaire and his wife, Patricia of Meaux; one daughter, Kim and her husband, Travis Stevens of Kaplan; his sister, Deanna L. Montet of Henry; his brother, Andre "P-nut" Lemaire of Abbeville; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Lemaire and the former Agnes Schexnider; and his brother, Midford Lemaire.
Serving as pallbearers will be Andre “P-nut” Lemaire, Mark Lemaire, Don Lemaire, Justin Lemaire, Taylor Stevens, and Travis Stevens.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, February 3, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
