Myrtis Ann Ford

A Celebration of Life will be held for Myrtis Ann Ford on Saturday, February 1, 2014, 1:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 607 S Bailey Street, Abbeville, LA. She will be buried in Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery in Grosse Isle. Rev. E J Guidry will officiate the service.
Born March 14, 1955 to the late Lindsey John Ford, Sr. and Rita Mae Ford, Myrtis passed away on January 25, 2014 at her residence in Lafayette. She was 58 years old.
Left to cherish her memories is two sons; Anthony (Heather) Ford of Susanville, CA, Marquis Ford of Lafayette, LA; two daughters, Latoya (Kevin) Campbell of Dallas, TX, Tanea Ford of Lafayette, LA; her mother, Rita Mae Ford of Abbeville, LA; three brothers, John Earl (Judy) Plowden of Lafayette, LA, Ross Anthony Plowden, Leroy (Tina) Green of Kileen, TX; one sister, Cheryl (Lawrence) Harris of Abbeville, LA; five grandchildren, Taijah Ford, T’Niya Ford, Trihnity Campbell, Jaylin Ford, Kennedy Ford,; three great-grandchildren, Jhrai Huntsberry, Demi Ford, Roman Bernard; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 1, 2014, from 7:00 AM until the time of service at Macedonia Baptist Church, 607 S Bailey Street, Abbeville, LA.
Kinchen Funeral Home Inc of Lafayette is in charge of final arrangements.
