Two vehicle accident north of Erath; injuries occurred

There was a two-vehicle accident Friday at around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Bares Road and La. 339, north of Erath, near the community of LeBlanc.
The accident involved a Slemco company truck and a compact car. It is unknown how the accident occurred at the intersection.
It was reported earlier that there was a fatality, but it was later learned, there was not, only injuries.
