Vermilion Parish Teachers of the Year named

The week of January 13, 2014, Vermilion Parish leaders Jerome Puyau and Paul Hebert traveled to three area schools to announce the 2014-15 Vermilion Parish Teachers of the Year.
Katie Villien from Herod Elementary was named the Vermilion Parish Elementary Teacher of the Year. Jason Harrington from J.H. Williams was named the Vermilion Parish Middle School Teacher of the Year, while Katherine Watson from Abbeville High was named the High School Teacher of the Year.
Each will now move to the next level of competition.
