Gillen, Williams united in Holy Matrimony

Lindsay Rae Gillen, formerly of Erath, Louisiana, and Russell Lee Williams III of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Henry, Louisiana. Father Emmanuel Fernandez officiated in the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Sheila Gillen of Erath. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Billodeaux of Oberlin, Louisiana, and the late Murphy and Stella Menard of Erath.

The groom is the son of Russ and Veronica Williams of Moss Bluff. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Williams of Nashville, Tennessee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rugemer of Lebanon, Tennessee.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Maid of honor was Mandi Montz, a friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jessica Williams, sister of the groom; Marisa Davidson Guidry, Jenci Corley, and Bridget Landry Saunier, friends of the bride; and Alexis Williams, sister-in-law of the groom.

The best man in the ceremony was Michael Williams, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Joshua Gillen, brother of the bride; Chance Walker, Mark Caldwell, Kyle Mestayer and Matt Pettaway, all friends of the groom.

The flower girls for the ceremony were Jayne Katherine and Amelia Blake Williams, daughters of the bride and groom. Music for the ceremony was provided by Andrea Twilley, flutist; Tommy Benoit, violinist; Dexter Thibodeaux, pianist; and Beth Hebert, soloist. Readings were given by Nicole Langlinais Hebert, friend of the bride, and Russ Williams, father of the groom. The ushers were Blake and Cody Caswell, both cousins of the groom. The mother of the bride was escorted by Joshua Gillen, brother of the bride. The mother of the groom was escorted by the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at L'Eglise. After returning from a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Moss Bluff.
