Vermilion Region Branch of University Women partner with Herod Village for MLK event

The National Association of University Women (NAUW) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1910 in Washington, DC. NAUW begins 104 years of service in communities throughout the United States. Vermilion Region Branch was chartered on May 19, 2013.
The mission of VRB is to serve youth, women and the disadvantaged throughout Vermilion Parish by addressing educational issues, advancing the status of women, mentoring youth, and strategically partnering with allied organizations.
NAUW- Vermilion Region Branch has partnered with Herod Village in sponsoring a Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast on Saturday, January 18 at 8:30 am. The breakfast is being held at Pleasant Green Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The public is invited to attend. Tickets may be purchased for $5.00 from any NAUW or Herod Village Member.
