Touchet and Hebert united in marriage

Karinda Lee Touchet and Cody Jude Hebert exchanged wedding vows on December 5, 20009, during a 1:00 p.m. ceremony. The Reverend Kenneth Maines officiated the ceremony at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Abbeville.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Peter Touchet of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Elmer Sr. of Abbeville and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Touchet of Abbeville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert James Hebert of Abbeville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Velma Trahan and the late Mr. Oris Trahan of Abbeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Hebert Sr. of Abbeville.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a glamorous trumpet shaped gown with adorning pearl and sequenced lace appliques finishing with a regal cathedral length train. The beautiful strapless gown was accented with swaraski buttons. The bride’s bouquet consisted of a nosegay of fresh white and cream colored calla lilies accented with a touch of peacock feathers and white feathers.

Krystal Touchet Boudreaux, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Claire Broussard, Michelle H. Simon, Shontelle Hebert, sister of the groom, and Courtney Hebert, sister of the groom. Ahndi Hebert, daughter of the groom, served as the Flower Girl.

Albert Hebert, father of the groom, served as the Best Man. Groomsmen included T. J. Romero, COrey Dore’, Trent Boudreaux, brother-in-law of the bride, and Scotty Touchet, cousin of the groom. Ethan Goutierrez, godchild of the groom, served as the Ring Bearer. Honorary Ring Bearer was Ian Boudreaux, godchild of the bride.

Serving as ushers were Brady Touchet, cousin of the groom, Ron Lege, cousin of the groom, and Jason Hebert, brother-in-law of the groom.

Readings for the ceremony were given by Tammy Ryder, godmother of the groom, Susan LaVergne, aunt of the bride, and Courtney deValcourt, friend of the bride.

Greeters for the wedding were Mandy Foster and Katie H. Monteaux, friends of the bride. Altar Boys for the ceremony were Trey Ryder and Hayden Ryder, cousins of the groom.

Music for the ceremony was provided by John Comeaux.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Theresa’s Family Life Center.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Hebert, on Dec. 3, 2009, at Abbeville Country Club.

The couple will reside in Abbeville.
