Kane William “Butt Butt” Greene

Abbeville-Funeral services will be held for Mr. Kane William “Butt-Butt” Greene, 31 at 2:00pm Saturday, June 13, 2009 at C. M. Butler Funeral Home with Rev. John Allen, officiating. He will await the resurrection in Rosehill Church Cemetery in Henry, LA. Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service. A resident of Abbeville, Mr. Greene fell asleep on Friday, June 5, 2009 at his residence. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving fiance, Shinequa Johnson of Abbeville, LA; three children, Kane Greene, Jr. and Kannia Greene both of Abbeville, LA and Kannesha Guidroz of Colorado; six brothers, Clifton Greene, Jr., Patrick Greene, Leonard Greene, Jimmy Wilson(Beverly) all of Abbeville; Wallace Wilson of San Antonio, TX and Dalton Wilson(Betty) of Erath, LA; six sisters, Theresa Harrison(Destry) of Youngsville, LA, Sylvia Willis(Bernard), Debra Readom, Gloria Brailey(Floyd) all of Abbeville, LA, Shirley Primeaux(Leonard) of Broussard, LA and Glenda Wilson of Erath, LA; his godparents, Verna Mae Greene and Floyd Brailey both of Abbeville, LA; one sister-in-law, Brenda Greene; one brother-in-law, Peter Readom; six aunts, two uncles, eleven nieces, eighteen nephews, twelve great nieces, twenty seven great nephews, other relatives and friends. Kane was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha R. Brailey; his father, Voris Wilson; two brothers, Paul Greene and Clyde Greene; four aunts, Lena Simon, Ulamae Hopkins, Eunice Johnson and Barbara Ann Brailey; one nephew, Sydney Brailey; his maternal grandparents, Myrtis P. and Leonard Brailey, Sr. and his paternal grandparents, Ada and Adouf Wilson.
