Kaplan—Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Preston Joseph Broussard Jr., 61, who died Tuesday, June 1, 2010.

He was laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Deanna H. Broussard of Gueydan; one daughter, Dena and her husband, Craig Petry of Gueydan; his parents, Preston J. Broussard Sr. and the former Laura Fruge of Kaplan; one sister, Mary Ann Romero of Kaplan; and three grandchildren, Dustin and Kendra Petry and Kaine Broussard.

He was preceded in death by one son, P. J. Broussard III; his father and mother-in-law, Ernest Hebert and the former Lucille Harrington and an infant grandson.
