Miss Mary Allison Chapman to marry Beau Hunter Istre

Mary Allison Chapman of Lake Arthur and Beau Hunter Istre of Gueydan are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage to be held Friday, June 4th, 2010 at 6 p.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur. Father Clyde Thomas will officiate the ceremony.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Kenneth and Sue Chapman of Lake Arthur. Her maternal grandparents are Franklin and Margie Bellard, and her paternal grandparents are the late Dickie and Maxine Chapman, all of Lake Arthur.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Lake Arthur High School and McNeese State University. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Jeff Davis Home Health.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John “Boo” Istre and Mr. Bob and Nancy Hensgens, all of Gueydan. His maternal grandparents are Nancy LeJeune and the late Stephen LeJeune of Gueydan, while his paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John D. Istre and the late Becky Waltrip, all of Gueydan.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Gueydan High School and Louisiana State University. He is currently employed as a civil engineer for DOTD in Jennings.
