Gueydan’s David Dupuis earns Doctorate

On December 31, 2009, David Dupuis, Principal of Rene A. Rost Middle School graduated from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership.

Dr. Dupuis’ dissertation is entitled “Effects of Single-sex Instruction on Behavior and Academic Performance.”

Dr. Dupuis plans to continue his professional endeavors with Vermilion Parish and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

Dr. Dupuis has been a resident of Vermilion parish for 27 years and has been in the public school system for 29 years. He is a past principal at Gueydan High School.

Dr. Dupuis currently resides in Gueydan with his wife Anita Freeland Dupuis and his children Hayden, Bailey, Derek and Lauren.
