Abbeville police asking for help in locating lost ear ring at DMV

The Abbeville Police Department is asking assistance in locating a lost earring.
On Nov. 22, 2013, officers received a complaint in reference to an earring that was lost at the Abbeville Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
The owner of the earring stated to the Abbeville police officers that the earring has “sentimental value to her and it can never be replaced.”
The good news is that someone found the earring at the DMV and informed the DMV workers that an earring was found; however, the person did not turn over the earring or leave a phone number to contact the person.
The Abbeville police are hoping that person who found the earring can contact the police and the earring can be returned to the owner.
If anyone has any information on the earring, please contact the Abbeville Police Department at 893-2511. The owner does not wish to pursue any charges.
