Vermilion Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit arrests five

According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit made the following arrests for narcotics related offenses within the parish.
- Christopher Collins, (dob 7/17/77) of New Iberia arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana (legal weed).
- Kendrick Davidson, (dob 2/20/83) of Gueydan, arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of synthetic marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Angel Touchet, (dob 01/28/94) of Kaplan, arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine.
- Mona Aube, (dob 10/08/64), of Kaplan, arrested and charged with possession of a chedule III, failure to appear for trial, and a hold was placed on Aube by Probation and Parole.
- Brandie Primeaux, (dob 06/24/88), of Kaplan, arrested and charged with Failure to Appear for trial, failure to appear (contempt of court), possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II (Suboxone), possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sheriff Couvillon would like to applaud the concerned citizens of Vermilion Parish for their awareness and assistance in helping the Sheriff’s Office in fighting the war on illegal drugs.
