GUEYDAN - The Gueydan Museum in partnership with Tom Angers of Lafayette recently unveiled a special exhibit on Sunday, April 17, at 3 p.m. during a meet and greet reception.
This special exhibit showcased treasures from Angers political presidential memorabilia collection. The collection spans as far back as 1902.
While the campaign button is the most recognized and widely collected of all campaign objects, the exhibit also includes vintage political ribbons, yard signs autograph neckties, newspapers and much more trail blazing items that depicts the race to the White House. Between the layers of this collection lies a vas abyss that has preserved the heritage of president’s campaigns.
Angers was on hand to answer questions during the reception and gave a well informed speech about the exhibit.
