New Nursing Home administrator

GUEYDAN - The Gueydan Memorial Guest Home has recently announced the appointment of a new administrator, local resident Trevor Hair of Wright will be stepping in after the dismissal of Danny Landry.
Hair brings with him over eighteen years experience in nursing home administration and had been a member of the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home Board of Directors since the summer of 2012.
Hair has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana Tech University.
When not at the nursing home, Hair runs a rice and crawfish farm in Wright. He is married to Cathy Guidry Hair, originally from Rayne, and is stepfather to two sons, Alex and Jean-Paul DuBos.
Gueydan Memorial Guest Home provides extended-stay nursing care to seniors with varying levels of disabilities. Hair commented that he hopes to continue to provide the best in care to residents.
GMGH received a 5 out of 5 overall rating from CMS of the Department of Health and Human Services in 2013. This score means that Gueydan Memorial Guest Home is rated much above average overall based on health inspections, nursing home staffing and quality measures.
