Gulf Coast Bank employee fundraiser benefits Miles Perret Cancer Services

LAFAYETTE — Throughout the year Gulf Coast Bank Marketing Coordinator Megan Donlon coordinates Internal Fundraisers at Gulf Coast Bank to support local non-profits. Donlon states “As a local community bank, Gulf Coast Bank strives to give back to as many local non-profit organizations and schools as possible. Our employees make it a priority to come together throughout the year to donate, fundraise, and volunteer for many of the causes that make the community we serve a better place.”
The latest fundraiser benefited Miles Perret Cancer Services. Megan Donlon, Marketing Coordinator, and Chris Juneau, Vice President, presented the check to Nicole Jones, Executive Director of Miles Perret Cancer Services.
Nicole Jones was very appreciative of the donation. Jones stated “Community Support is crucial for Miles Perret Cancer Services because we do not receive any government funding; all our funding is in the form of individual and corporate donations.”
Miles Perret Cancer Services serves a 10-parish area and is a resource for individuals and their families fighting, surviving, and living with cancer. It provides emotional support, guidance, resources, programs, and most importantly, hope.
