Donald Menard running for Erath Alderman

Donald Menard is announcing that he will be a candidate for re-election on the town council in Erath for the Nov. 4 general election.
I am a lifelong resident of Erath, married to the former Lucy Vincent and have seven children, Debbie, Donna, Cindy, Randy, Creig, Marlene and Don.
I am a member of the Erath Volunteer Fire Department and served as Fire Chief for 20 years and also a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus.
I started the Farmers Market in Erath and serve as the Market Manager as a volunteer.
I represent Erath on the Parish Economic Development District Board and the Twin Parish Port Commission. It has been an honor for me to serve as alderman on the town council for the past 12 years.
My objective has always been to help solve problems that affect the citizens of Erath.
Some of my duties as an alderman have been to improve the drainage in town and maintain and improve the town park for families to enjoy.
The major duties of an elected official, such as an alderman, is to serve everyone in a fair and impartial manner which I have done and pledge to continue doing.
On November 4, please give me the honor of re-electing me to the town council for the next four years. If I can help you, please give me a call at 522-2338.
Thank you.
