Curfew set for all of Vermilion Parish

A curfew has been set for all of Vermilion Parish.
The curfew will run from 5 p.m. on Saturday to 5 a.m. on Sunday.
According to Abbeville Mayor Mark Piazza, the National Guard is helping many people from their homes in the city. The Rec at A.A. Comeaux Park is being utilized as a shelter.
Master Trooper Brooks David of the State Police said U.S. Hwy. 167 is in the process of being closed between Maurice and Abbeville.
