Baudoin named new Abbeville parks, rec director

The Abbeville City Council voted 5-0 Tuesday during its regular meeting to name Trenton Baudoin the city’s new parks and recreation director.
Baudoin is an Abbeville native and 2003 graduate of Abbeville High School.
He is currently an officer with the Abbeville Police Department. He has been with the department for nearly three years.
Baudoin, who has coached baseball with the Abbeville rec department for several years, will take over a position that has been vacant since April, when the council voted to let go of former director Jerry Smith.
