All Friday basketball games cancelled

All basketball games in Vermilion Parish have been cancelled for Friday night.
Superintendent Jerome Puyau spoke to OEP and the rain will continue throughout the day and the temperature will reach the 33 degree after noon.
He informed all principals Friday games need to be postponed.
Kaplan will play their games Saturday at 2 p.m.

VC games pushed back till Monday

Vermilion Catholic boys and girls basketball games against Hanson have been postponed until Monday, according to VC girls coach Kim Guidry.
Guidry said there are still overpasses that are closed between Franklin and Abbeville because of icy conditions. The game was scheduled to be played in Abbeville.
The first game Monday will start at 5:30 p.m.
