Abbeville's Koryn Hawthorne makes Top 12 on "The Voice"

Abbeville 17-year-old singer Koryn Hawthorne made the top 12 of “The Voice” on Wednesday night.
‘The Voice” is a nationally televised singing competition on NBC.
Koryn sang Monday night and public voting was held Monday and Tuesday.
The top two singers on each team reaches the top 12 and the coach can save a person.
Koryn was not one of the top two vote getters on Team Pharrel Williams.
Williams, however, was allowed to save one member and he selected Koryn.
“My heart, soul and spirit is going with Koryn,” Williams said on the show.
Koryn and the other 11 singers will compete against each other Monday and Tuesday of next week.
She is a junior at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Abbeville.
