Abbeville Police looking for two shooting suspects

Abbeville Police are looking for two men allegedly involved in a shooting Friday evening.
The incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Maude Avenue and Marmont Street in Abbeville.
Police have issued warrants for Andrew Granger, 20, and Jarred Clement, 22, in connection to the shooting. Granger faces charges of two counts of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and felon in possession of a firearm. Clement is wanted for principal to two counts of first-degree murder, accessory to attempted first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
“Officers responded to a call of several shots fired,” Abbeville Police Lt. David Hardy said. “They located two victims.”
One victim had been shot in the wrist. The other was hit on the buttocks. Medics transported the victims, both 17, to separate medical facilities. Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
