Abbeville Police investigate Tuesday evening's armed robbery

On Dec. 2, 2014 at approximately 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at Express Check Advance on Veterans Memorial in Abbeville.
The suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing a green Oregon Ducks hoodie with grey sweat pants, ran out the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
While officers were conducting that investigation, a nearby hotel called to report that the same suspect attempted to rob their business.
The Abbeville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the hope of identifying this suspect.
