Abbeville Police book one, looking for other suspect involved in shooting

The Abbeville Police Department has been working diligently on the numerous shootings which recently occurred within the city.
Abbeville Police developed two suspects through video surveillance and information from concerned citizens. Abbeville Police obtained warrants on the following suspects:
• Donald Briggs III, 18, of 318 Sucre Circle in Abbeville.
• Kirkland Demouchet, 20, of 1114 Graceland Ave. in Abbeville
Both suspects are being charged with Illegal Carrying of Weapons and Illegal Use of Weapons. The bond on Briggs’ warrant was set at $30,000. The bond on Demouchet’s warrant was set at $35,000.
Briggs turned himself in at the Abbeville Police Department. Police are still looking for Demouchet.
