Mrs. Whitney White Credeur

White, Credeur unite in marriage

Jordan Credeur and Whitney White were joined in marriage on Saturday evening, May 17, 2014, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville, Louisiana. Father Keith Landry officiated the ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a moonlight white mermaid style gown with a white illusion lace bodice and satin court train. She also wore a fingertip veil of white illusion. She carried a bouquet of all white hydrangeas, roses, peonies and mini calla lilies with a cascade of phaleonopsis orchids.

Bridget Meaux was maid of honor in the ceremony. Bridesmaids were Cecily Broussard and Jill Duhon. Charli Knickerbocker, godchild of the groom, was the flower girl.

Tony Credeur, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were John Knickerbocker and Mike Olivier. The ring bearer was Everett White, godchild of the bride.

Ushers were Andre Delahoussaye and Seth White, brother of the bride. Readers were Kristen White, sister-in-law of the bride, and Katherine Burnett, godmother of the groom.
A reception followed at the American Legion Hall in Kaplan.

The bride is the daughter of Chris and Denise White of Mouton Cove. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Mark Broussard of Mouton Cove and Mr. and Mrs. Pinkard White of Cow Island.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as an oncology nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Tony and Carolyn Credeur of Milton. He is the grandson of Mrs. Irma Cater of Fort Necessity, Louisiana, and the late Ira Lee Cater, along with the late Mr. and Mrs. Early Credeur of Rayne, Louisiana.

He is employed as a professional firefighter with the city of Lafayette.
