Walker, Blanchet announce upcoming wedding

B.J. and Kirk Zaunbrecher of Oak Grove, LA and Shelia Walker and the late Don Walker of Bastrop, LA, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Relda Katherine Walker, to Robert Childs Blanchet, son of Ben and Anne Blanchet of Meaux, LA.

Katie is a graduate of Oak Grove High School and Cloyd's Beauty School. She is a Stylist at Salon Nivag' in Lafayette, LA. Bob is a graduate of North Vermillion High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He is the Manager of Operations at Brookshire Farm in Meaux, LA.

The couple will marry at 6:30 p.m. on March 15, 2014, at Brookshire Farm.
