Touchet, Hill come together in Delcambre

Hilary Adelaide Touchet of Delcambre, Louisiana, and Blake Alan Hill were married on May 10, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre. Father Thomas Voorhies celebrated the service.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory P. Touchet of Delcambre. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Verly Bourque Landry and the late Mr. Elton P. Landry, and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Touchet, all of Delcambre.

The groom is the son of Gisele Perry and the late Mr. Alan Wayne Hill of Chaumont, New York. He is the grandson of Mrs. Yvette Van Etten and the late Mr. James Van Etten and Mrs. Marion DeRoche and the late Mr. James Hill.

The father of the bride gave her away. She wore a beautifully fitted pearl-white Casablanca gown embellished with lace appliqués sewn over silk tulle and satin, flowing through to a semi -cathedral train. The dress features a bateau, illusion neckline over a sweetheart bodice that is built up with cap sleeves for a sheer, elegant finish. Hilary’s two-tiered fingertip veil, featuring antique rose lace appliqués and pearls, was fashioned by her grandmother. She chose a bouquet consisting of pink blush peonies, antique garden roses and green hydrangeas, and her great-grandmother’s rosary.

The maid of honor was Jessica Ann Touchet. The bridesmaids were Chelsea Frederick, Anne Katherine Landry, Shelly Libersat, Jennifer Osten, Victoria Richard, and Sara Thevis. Abigail Payton, godchild of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. Serving as flower girl was Avery Grace Fulmer, niece of the groom.

Derik Allen Aucter served as the best man. The groomsmen were Paul Ammons, Justin Dugas, Zachary Judice, Travis Redifer, Cole Perry (brother of the groom), and Noah Touchet, brother of the bride. Drew Eassa, nephew of the groom, served as junior groomsman. Serving as ring-bearer was the groom’s nephew, Colton Spencer Fulmer.
Ushering in guests were Richard Arcuri, Noah Brandon, Cody Cormier and Karl Helo.

The musicians for the wedding were Manique LeBlanc, organist; Neil Simon, trumpeter; Ben Bailey, Cellist; and Tommy Benoit, violinist; Duston Stout, guitarist and vocalist; and mother of the bride, Bridget Touchet, vocalist.

Afterwards, a reception was held in the home of the bride’s parents in Delcambre. The couple travels to Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida, before coming home to reside in Delcambre.
