Romero, Becker announce upcoming marriage

Pearle Romero and John J. Becker Jr. of Abbeville, Louisiana, are pleased to announce their upcoming marriage to be held on March 22, 2014. They will be married at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Mary Romero of Meaux, Louisiana, and the late E.J. Romero of Erath, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Erath High School, graduating in 1985. She then attended Southern Technical College, graduating in 1991 with an associate’s degree in medical secretarial science.

Romero now works as a billing specialist at ACS Medical Billing solutions of Lafayette, Louisiana.

The groom is the son of Ms. Helen Becker and the late John Joseph Becker Sr. He attended Abbeville High School, graduating in 1990. He currently works as a senior marine building designer at Engineering Corporation of Louisiana (ECL) in Lafayette.
