Petry, Badon announce engagement

Clayton and Jennifer Petry of Gueydan, Louisiana, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Leslie Rachelle Petry, to Brandon Timothy Badon.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Gueydan High School as a member of the class of 2004. She then attended McNeese State University, graduating in 2008. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She now works in Abbeville as a registered nurse at Acadian HomeCare of Abbeville.

The prospective groom is the son of Judy Badon and the late Timothy Badon of Gueydan. He also graduated from Gueydan High School in 2004. He currently works for Murphy Oil as a production operator.

The impending wedding will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Gueydan.
