Ledet, Scalisi wed in Las Vegas

Polly Ledet of Abbeville, Louisiana, and Joseph Scalisi of Clovis, New Mexico, were joined in marriage on June 14, 2014 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Mary Pat Ledet of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of the late Norris and Alice Broussard of Abbeville, and Olga Ledet and the late Francis Ledet of Abbeville.

The groom is the son of Marion and Mary Scalisi of Abbeville. He is the grandson of the late Maurice and Josephine Scalisi and the late Edie and Aga Baudoin Langlinais.

Aaron Magger, friend of the bride and groom, gave the bride away. Her dress was a Vera Wang ivory, one shoulder dress with chiffon accents on the bottom and a black accent belt as well. Her bouquet was an ivory Rose bouquet with black ribbon accents and a "fleur de lis" was centered in her arrangement.

The maid of honor in the ceremony was Lauren Bradley. Aaron Magger served as best man.

Dinner was held at PF Changs after the wedding and dancing at The Paris followed.

The bride graduated from Abbeville High School in 1992. She then attended Northeast Louisiana University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.

She is an Executive Consultant for Rodan and Fields, the doctors of Proactive.

The groom graduated from Vermillion Catholic High School in 1992. Currently employed by the 16th Special Operations Squadron United States Air Force Cannon Air Force Base. Presently attending Presently attending Aviation Operations Community College of the Air Force as well.
