LeBouef, Broussard exchange vows
Brittany LeBouef and Brock Broussard of Abbeville, Louisiana, were wed on Saturday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at L’Eglise in LeBlanc, Louisiana. Judge Ed Broussard officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Hebert of Meaux, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Karl LeBouef of Maurice, Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emile LeBouef of Abbeville, and Ms. Opal Abshire and the late Leo Abshire of Leroy, Louisiana.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Broussard. He is the grandson of Ms. Julia Campbell and the late Milton Campbell of Meaux, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Libersat of Abbeville, and Mr. Warren Broussard of Maurice.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her brothers Brady and Brandon LeBouef. She wore a slim line gown with button-over-zipper closure. The intricate ivory lace was lined with light gold satin. The gown found at A-Net’s Bridal Boutique featured a beautiful high Mandarin keyhole back and a fishtail train finished with scallped edging. Finally, Swarovski crystals were delicately sprinkled throughout with rich, decorative beading at the empire waist. She carried a beautiful nosegay bouquet made of creamy white graden roses, pale pink and soft peach garden roses, which were accented with beautiful soft lime pods and Dusty Miller, designed by Belaire Tradition and Treasures.
The maid of honor was Amy Walker, a friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Joy Campbell, Meghan Campbell, and Heather Touchet, all friends of the bride.
The bride’s attendants all wore elegant crinkle chiffon gowns selected at A-Net’s Bridal Boutique. The dresses introduced an empire waistline and pleated bodice with a halter neckline. These floor-length gowns were featured in a deep indigo.
Best man in the ceremony was the groom’s brother, Jacob Broussard. The groomsmen were Eric Meaux, the groom’s cousin; Matt Campbell, the groom’s cousin’ and Jacques Bourque, a friend of the groom.
The ring bearer was Bradyn LeBouef, the bride’s nephew. Brynn Broussard, daughter of the bride and groom, served as flower girl.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her husband, Chuck Hebert. She wore a breathtaking vintage-style floor-length chiffon dress in navy. It featured a cap sleep and side ruched detail. It was adorned with a gorgeous, beaded neckline.
The mother of the groom was escorted by her husband, Kevin broussard. She wore a sleeveless, floor-length dress of navy jersey knit, overlaid with chiffon. It featured an empired waistline and an eye-catching, intricate jeweled neckline.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Corey Mouton.
The reception after the ceremony was also held at L’Eglise. The couple travel now to San Fransisco and Napa Valley for their wedding trip, and will live in Abbeville upon their return home.
