Jordan, Abshire unite in marriage

Krystal Jordan and Michael John Abshire were united in marriage on July 5, 2014, in a small ceremony held at the bride’s parents’ home in Erath, Louisiana. The officiant of the ceremony was Jamie Bergeron.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Milissa Jordan of Erath, and the groom is the son of Doris and Theresa Abshire of Kaplan, Louisiana.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her son, Cayden. She wore a satin draped one shoulder short gown with pearl embellishment at the side drape. Her bouquet was a hand tied bouquet of white, aqua blue, yellow roses and white hydrangeas and in her bouquet was her late grandmother’s rosary.

The bride’s sister, Kori Jordan, served as maid of honor. The bride’s daughter, Kaylee Dubois, served as flower girl.

Marc Duhon, a friend of the groom, served as best man.

Following the ceremony, a celebration was held with their closest friends and family.

The couple will reside in Erath.
