Hebert, LeBlanc exchange vows
Holly Elizabeth Hebert and Carey Joseph LeBlanc exchanged their vows at L’Eglise on Saturday, May 31, 2014, with the Honorable Richard Putnam III officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joan and Ronnie Methvin and John Craig Hebert and is the granddaughter of Anna Hebert and the late Lloyd Hebert the late James and Myrtis Dent.
The groom is the son of Brent and Stacy LeBlanc and the grandson of Becky and Nathan Falgout and Myrits LeBlanc and the late Elmo LeBlanc.
The bride wore a beautiful sculpted gown that introduced a champagne, raw silk fabric, perfectly seamed for a flattering fit. The exquisite gown also featured a sophisticated bateau neckline and a delicately detailed, gem encrusted waistband. The train was semi-cathedral train adorned with satin and crystal buttons. Her look was featured by a two layer veil that was adorned with a pearl and rum pink crystal beaded edging. The veils English netting was a light mocha color which complemented the bride’s gown perfectly. She carried a nosegay bouquet of cream peonies, garden roses and hydrangea. The bouquet was hand tied with cream satin ribbon with stems showing. The unique bouquet was designed by Belaire Traditions and Treasures.
The matron of honor for the ceremony was Heather Fontenot, sister of the bride. The groom’s sister, Ashley LeBlanc, served as bridesmaid.
Brent LeBlanc, the groom’s father, was the best man for the ceremony. Jace Hebert, the bride’s brother, and Kyle LeBlanc, the groom’s brother, served as groomsmen.
The mother of the bride wore a bronze colored suit. Her jacket featured three quarter length sleeves paired with a lace skirt with a scalloped hem.
The mother of the groom wore a sheath gown of turkish blue with a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice. Complete with a vellero jacket.
A reception was also held at L’Eglise following the ceremony. The couple are taking a wedding trip with Western Caribbean Cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Caymen, Caymen Islands and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The bride is a graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School, having graduated in 2002. She is currently employed at the LeBlanc Center for Learning. The groom is a graduate of Erath High School, graduating in 2001, and attended the Univeristy of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is employed at Crescent Crown Distributing-Louisiana.
