Fogleman, Laviolette wed in New Iberia

Addie Alissa Fogleman of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Brody Jude Laviolette of Abbeville, Louisiana, were joined together in marriage on Friday, March 28, 2014, at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia, Louisiana. Serving as the official for the wedding was Judge Ed Broussard.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. & Mrs. Trent Fogleman of Lafayette. She is the granddaughter of Lydia Kuffler and the late Keith Kuffler of Crowley, Louisiana, and Jackie and Lyle Fogleman, and the late Janet Fogleman of Crowley.

The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ricky Laviolette of Abbeville. He is the grandson of the late Euris and Emory Faulk of Abbeville and the late Rellis and Genevieve Laviolette of Erath, Louisiana.

The bride wore a slim intricate lace gown with button over zipper closure, featuring a beautiful high mandarin keyhole back and fish tail train, finished with scalloped edging Swarovski crystals sprinkled throughout with rich decorative beading at an empire waist.

Her veil was her mother's veil of tulle and lace, attached to a pearl headpiece, and she carried as her bouquet a clutch of white hydrangea and dove roses surround by a band of silver brooches.  The bouquet was wrapped in white satin ribbon.

The maid of honor for the ceremony was Laura Leblanc, friend of the bride. Zoe Lamberson, friend of the bride, and Michelle Laviolette, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaids.
The bridesmaid dresses were a firecracker full length, v-neck lux chiffon, with draped detail at neckline. Shirring covers the front and back of the skirt with a front slit. They carried a clutch of coral passion, lavender and white mini calas lilies wrapped in coral satin ribbon.

James Comeaux friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen in the ceremony were Nicholas Barras, friend of the groom, and Christopher Faulk, friend of the groom.
Lillian Sarah Gauthier, daugther of Jennifer & Dennis Gauthier of Metarie, Louisiana, served as flower girl. She wore a full length firecracker satin and full length dress with an ivory lace overlay. An ivory sash surrounds the middle with a bow with a flowing from the back.

Keith Ryan Kuffler, son of Lyndie & Keith Kuffler of Iota, Louisiana, served as ring bearer.

Trent Fogleman, Jr. and Lance Fogleman, both brothers of the bride, were ushers in the ceremony.

After the service, a reception was held immediately after.

The bride attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and is currently enrolled in LSU in Eunice as part of the nursing program. She is employed at the Women’s Clinic in Abbevile.
The groom graduated from Abbeville High School and currently works at Broussard Brothers Inc.
