Falgout, Sonnier to be married

Joe and Mary Beth Falgout of Abbeville, Louisiana, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenny Elizabeth Falgout of Abbeville to Tim Lee Sonnier II of Kaplan, Louisiana. Their wedding date is set for January 24, 2014, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth and the late Emile Dugas of Abbeville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Falgout of Delcambre, Louisiana. She attended Vermilion Catholic High School, graduating in 2006. She then attended the Cosmetology Training Center and graduated in 2007. She is currently as cosmetologist at Hair Shack in Kaplan.

The groom-to-be is the son of Ms. Linda Lou Thompson of Lafayette, Louisiana, and the late Tim L. Sonnier. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrance Thompson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hebert Sonnier. He attended Kaplan High School, graduating in 2004. He then completed his degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2009 and currently works as a financial manager at Deep South Financial Corporation.
