Clostio, Higginbotham unite in marriage

Jenée A. Clostio and Andrew J. Higginbotham were united in marriage on Saturday January 18, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, Louisiana. Father Bill Melancon,  officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James (Buddy) Clostio of Erath. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Broussard Sr. of Erath, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Clostio, and the late Nona Belle Hebert Clostio of Abbeville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Higginbotham of Fordoche. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rogers of New Roads and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Higginbotham of Fordoche.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a beautiful Ivory A-line strapless gown with beaded lace detail on bodice, an elegant split back skirt with beaded lace detail and a chapel train.

For her veil, she chose a single tier with scalloped edges and crystal embellishments. She carried a bouquet of white ivory roses.

Bridget Mier, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Blair Landry, friend of the bride, Lauren Hebert, friend of the bride, and Angie Higginbotham sister of the groom.

Attendants wore full-length dresses in peacock. They featured one shoulder and fell to an A-line. Each carried a bouquet of green hydrangeas and green orchids. 

Justin Mier, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Coy Clostio, brother of the bride, Dustin Ewing, cousin of the groom, and Clayton Broussard Jr., Godfather of the bride.

Acting as flower girls were Kinsley Mier and Peyton Pilette both friends of the bride and groom.

Bradain Higginbotham, son of the groom and Ridge Morvant, Godchild of the bride acted as ring bearers.

Readings were given by Brooke Olgesby and Katherine Bennett both friends of the bride. Gift bearers were Tori and Tanya Broussard, cousins of the bride.

Acting as ushers were Christopher Olgesby, friend of the groom, and Gage Morvant, cousin of the bride.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Neil Simon, Jude Gaspard, and Sarah Walker.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at La Louisiane.

The couple will honeymoon in Lake Tahoe. When they return, they will reside in Youngsville, Louisiana.
