Broussard-Thibodeaux wedding announced

The parents of Chantele and Ross are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Chantele is the daughter of Joey Broussard and Jeffrey Johnson of Lafayette, La. and Lisette and Russell Suire of Erath, La. Ross is the son of Stephanie and Terry Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, La. The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, on the evening of Saturday, May 31, 2014, at seven o’clock in St. Pius X Catholic Church with a reception following at the River Oaks Event Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Broussard Sr., Mr. Carroll DeMarcy and the late Ruby DeMarcy, of Abbeville, La. She is a 2004 graudate of Erath High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 2008. She is currently employed with Capital One Bank in Lafayette, La.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late D.D. and Anne Temay Thibodeaux and thet late Paul and Gladys (Tiny) Castille of Breaux Bridge, La. He is a 2005 graduate of Breaux Bridge High, a U.S. Navy veteran and currently attending UL Lafayette earning his Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering where he is planning to graduate in May of 2015.
