Boffy, Touchet engagement announced

Amanda Kay Boffy of Abbeville, Louisiana, and Rusty James Touchet of Abbeville are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding, which will be held on August 2, 2014, at 6 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the VN Hall in Abbeville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Denis and Rebecca Boffy of Abbeville. She is a 2008 graduate of Abbeville High School. She attended the Cosmetology Training Center and graduated this year.

The groom is the son of Claudia and Donny Broussard of Kaplan, Louisiana, and Russell and Tina Touchet of Kaplan. He is a 2009 graduate of Kaplan High School. He is currently working as a shipping and receiving dispatcher at Danos Chevron Dock in Intracoastal City.
