Students in Mrs. Terry Leblanc's and Mrs. Marilyn Cabrol's Pre-Kindergarten classes at Seventh Ward Elementary all became paleontologists by digging for dinosaur bones for 'dinosaur week'.
The students had to chisel through frozen ice to uncover these dino-bones. They had a lot of fun using fine motor skills by learning to use a chisel and a hammer.
They also learned to sort by color, sort by type, and make graphs to improve their math skills. Barrett Stelly stopped by the classroom to help the students dig. It was a great week and we all became "bone-digging experts!"
