Hometown Favorite Nichole Marceaux kicks off Spring Series at the Richard Sale Barn

Abbeville - Abbeville Native Nichole Marceaux and Twist of Fate band will open the 2014 Spring Series at the Richard Sale Barn on Saturday, March 22, 2014. The Barn is located at 1307 S. Henry St. in Abbeville. Always a smoke-free concert, the doors open at 6 pm with the music beginning at 7 pm.
Nichole is an American Recording artist as well as a Vermilion Parish girl with fans from Louisiana to Australia. Her self- proclaimed “new country” sound shoots with a rocking side that will leave you boogeying to the sounds of her original tunes, Country, Southern Rock, Oldies, and music. Her gifted voice and song-writing talents have already made her a singing sensation.

Nichole has been described by Thrust Magazine as having “an amazingly powerful voice. (She is) Strong and delivers a punch with her new single, The Breath You Wasted." But she is also a sensitive woman that moves you with her beautiful voice. Nichole is the full spectrum of an artist. She has every element it takes and is on her way to becoming a top artist.”

Having performed professionally since the age of 16, (she is currently 22 years old), Nichole has become very well rounded on vocals, guitar, songwriting and entertaining. She recently returned from Nashville, TN. where she not only recorded her EP, but shared the stage with some of the best talents around. This earned her a wealth of connections, experience and a publishing deal for her songwriting.

She will be performing with the Twist of Fate band which includes Tony Woods, Derek Triviz, and Eric Dupre. Tony is described as the "Swiss Army Knife" member of the band. From playing guitar and keys to managing lights and off stage logistics, Tony gives his all. With influences ranging from Soul to Rock, Classical to Country, Bluegrass to Blues, Traditional Cajun to Zydeco, Tony provides a seasoned style to the band. Drummer Derek Triviz comes from New Iberia and has played since the age of 14. Derek’s performance is the “heart” of the band with his unstoppable energy. On bass is Eric Dupre who also has played music from an early age. He is a Vermilion Parish boy (Maurice) and has performed with local talents including Jim McGee, Julian Primeaux, Jacob Landry and Paul Piazza.

The Barn is proud to have talent such as Nichole’s and the Twist of Fate band to open their 2014 Spring Series. This show will really make you want to have your cowboy boots shined and ready for this experience in the Barn’s intimate setting.
