The Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana sells lemonade at the Vermilion Unit.

Boys & Girls Club celebrates National Lemonade Day

Club members from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana’s Rodney Simon Unit in Abbeville participated in National Lemonade Day.

The purpose of this event is to Empower Today’s Youth to Become Tomorrow’s Entrepreneur.

Through this event club members learned the process of setting goals, planning and budgeting, and basic steps on how to run a business.

According to Brian Ford Chief Operating Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana, “This was a great opportunity for the youth of Abbeville and the community to come together and support entrepreneurism. We have a lot of great minds in Vermilion Parish that will be our future business leaders in the years to come.”
