Abbeville-Funeral services will be held for Mr. James Broussard, 66 at 1:00pm Saturday, January 9, 2010 at C. M. Butler Funeral Home - 218 N. Saint Valerie Street - Abbeville, LA with Rev. Darrell Thibeaux officiating.

He will await the resurrection in Carter-Rudd-Lewis Cemetery in Abbeville.

Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home on Saturday from 8 am until time of service.

A native of New Iberia, LA and resident of Abbeville, LA he passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at LTAC of Acadiana in Abbeville General Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, Wilton Broussard, Jr. of Abbeville, LA and Gerald Broussard, Sr.(Janice) of New Iberia, LA; one sister, Josephine Boyd(Major) of Lively, VA; one aunt, Lillian James of New Iberia, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton Broussard, Sr. and Helen Hawthorne Broussard; one sister, Betty Jean Burnett; one uncle, Richard Hawthorne and one aunt, Josephine Dixon.
